Permanent Traffic Online Is Yours Through Writing Articles

By Richard Horowitz

If you are looking for free traffic for your website, there is no better way to get it than by writing articles. You will get that traffic streaming in no time flat - and permanently - by writing the right articles and submitting them to the right places. Here are some of the ways articles bring traffic to your website:

Article bank click-throughs. People read your articles at an article bank, and click on the link in the "author's resource box."

Search engine traffic. Here's proof - if you enter "cheap international plane tickets" on Google, you will see a couple sites that include my article in there. And when people see that article, they can click through, and presto - they will be directed to my travel site.

Miscellaneous web addresses. You may or may not know it if somebody else is using your articles on their website, but most likely they are, if you receive reports of an unrecognized referral address.

Article Submission 101

Submit your articles to article banks and newsletters. Article banks usually carry "free-distribution "articles, meaning anyone can use them for a site, newsletter or blog. They just can't change them, and they have to leave your link active. The link is in the "resource box," where you say something about yourself and invite the reader to visit your web site.

You could stand to gain permanent streams of traffic if an article you have posted catches on. Really now? Let me tell you about my site HousesUnderFiftyThousand.com, but this is just an off-the-record example - the reason I get traffic for the keywords "Mexico real estate" is because of somebody else's article that I had used. The person who wrote that article would benefit from click throughs to her site, and on my end, I get traffic and added income, so by keeping that article on my site, everybody wins!

This is the Easiest Article Writing You Can Find

No need for any fancy-Dan credentials if you're interested in article writing. Online articles are short and less formal than magazine articles anyhow, but if you really don't like writing, try a "list-article." This is the most popular type of article online, which is fortunate, because it's also the easiest type to write.

For a site about making money on Ebay, you could write an article titled "The Top Ten Sellers On Ebay." Briefly introduce yourself, throw in a sentence or two about each item, link to your site on the resource box, bada bing, bada boom - effortless. Write "Six Mistakes People Make On Ebay," and we need to read that to avoid the mistakes, right? While most article banks are free, some may charge a nominal fee. But there are various other ways to generate traffic with your articles. And if you want to know about the advanced tips...well, visit my other site and let's talk shop...got you there!
