Wild Journey In Nepal

By Erin Richards

The Kingdom is the next installment in the Fargo Adventure series if you have any interest in Clive Cussler books in chronological order. While this book has some weak points, it's still a very entertaining story. Please ignore all crass and vicious, literary critiques from people who just can't say anything nice and pick up this novel for pure fun and quest. So let us push on into the book's basics.

Discouraging reports pushes Sam and Remi Fargo into the hunt for a missing person. And not just any missing person, this person turns out to be their chum and collegue. So switching gears from treasure hunting to missing person search takes the Fargos from the US to Nepal. And what they find leads not only to their friend, but to an antiquities black market dealing in fossils along with the involvement of a corrupt Chinese military general. Top all of this intrigue off with bad Texas multi-millionaire pulling all the, and you have got the makings of a fantastic, fast moving book to hold your attention this Saturday!

So what is the true motive of the Texan? It's the search for one artifact that holds traditional mystery. Held in high esteem, this artifact was guarded by squaddies who swore their lives to keep it safe and out of the hands of burglars and invading armed forces. To assert that finding this treasure proves to be a discouraging task is an understatement, but Sam and Remi prove they are the task.

Crammed with intrigue, and a lot of suspense...The Kingdom is a great book to read when you need to get away from it all. There are loads of plot twists, most unlikely situations, and completely impossible to believe strokes of good luck thrown into this story. But , let's bear in mind that this is a made up story...and that's the reason why it's so much fun.

We do not read books as expect everything to be perfect with timelines, personality development, and pacing...we read fiction stories to be entertained and give us a transient escape from our busy facts of normal life. The Kingdom from author Clive Cussler has demonstrated to be that, a thrilling and fun to read break from the daily we all live with.
