Brand Marketing with The Goal of Expert Standing in Business

By Jenny Ryan

You will gain the trust and confidence of your niche audience much faster when they perceive you as being an established expert. We know how challenging it can be to convince a large part of any niche that you have some expert background; keep reading to see how to address this issue.

It is incredible when you think about the power of social media as an influencing force in society. The numbers of people involved across all social media platforms on the net has to be a billion largely thanks to Facebook. You know we are getting at making smart use of Facebook and other sites to get in front of your audience and let them know you are an expert. When you think about it, gaining the trust of someone online is very similar to being able to do that offline - so be patient.

Podcasts are certainly nothing new at all, but they are still used by people because of how easy it is to download and take with you. So naturally if you do any kind of seminars offline or webinars, then simply transfer the audio to a format and turn it into a podcast. But when you are creating podcasts, you have so many options available to you in terms of content. Integrating podcasts is at least worth a test with your particular market, and that is always the best way to find out. Every single podcast that you create and send out will act as a building block in your overall quest to conquer the minds of your prospects.

Take a look around you in your niche, and think about what you have to offer them. If you are comfortable with the thought of being interviewed, then you want to approach site owners who want to do that. The other site's readers and traffic get to hear your great information, the site owner is a hit and more people will know who you are. You don't have to give everything away in the interview, but rather follow the 'give some, keep the rest' policy. This one is a no-brainer, and you need to nail this just like you need to do it in your webinars. You should try to be as open in your approach as possible when giving the interview and provide real value through your answers, so that the people listening to it actually feel like they are getting something.

Earning expert status in any niche market will take time to achieve, and that is why patience and dedication are in order.
